Bradley Stoke Community School

Primary Results

Our Primary Phase opened in 2015/16 and we are proud to publish our outcomes. You can also access our results on the Department for Education website. This website allows us to compare the performance of Bradley Stoke Primary School with that of others.

Note - The government will not publish KS2 school level data for the 2021-2022 academic year. They have archived data from the 2018-2019 academic year because they recognise that the data from that year may no longer reflect current performance.

EYFS Outcomes

A Good Level of Development (GLD) is defined as children working at the expected standard, or exceeding the expected standard, in the key areas of literacy, maths, physical development, communication and language and personal, social and emotional development.

Year 1 Phonic Screening

At the end of Year 1 children are tested on their ability to read phonetically decodable words. If they do not pass the screening they will be retested at the end of Year 2.

KS1 Outcomes

At the end of KS1 (Year 2), teachers are required to assess each child in the areas of reading, writing, maths and science. National Curriculum assessment tests (SATS) are used to inform teachers’ judgements.

Children are assessed as:

  • ‘Expected Standard’ – working at the expected standard for a child at the end of Year 2.
  • ‘Greater Depth’ – working at greater depth within the expected standard, with a strong understanding of the curriculum.

KS2 Outcomes

We are immensely proud of our pupils who are thriving in our school community.  They are developing into confident, articulate and resilient learners, and having a lot of fun along the way!
